The licensed restaurant caters for à la carte dining with patrons able to take in the coastal scenery. Okurukuru offers dining on two levels, both of which are available for private hire to suit your requirements.

Bookings are strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.

Restaurant


OKURUKURU has a number of features which makes it stand out from other venues. The entrance hall with its large windows offer superb views of the sea and the mountain.

Seaward viewing from the restaurant or mezzanine offers a selection of framed views from Oakura to the Sugar Loaf Islands; or move out onto the spacious deck and enjoy
outstanding panoramic views from Cape Egmont to New Plymouth, you may even be fortunate enough to see a whale basking off the coast.

OKURUKURU Licensed Restaurant caters for a la carte dining. The generous table layout ensures seating for up to 120 people comfortably, with all tables being able to look out over the vineyard as well as take in the coastal scenery.

During those cold winter nights our restaurant, with its cosy lounge area and large fire is especially inviting before dining and can be the perfect finish for the evening with coffee or liqueur.

Upstairs there is a glassed-in mezzanine floor which is ideal for private functions, seating up to 50 people.

From this vantage point a commanding view of the vineyard is offered as well as superior views of the coastline from Oakura to the Sugar Loaf Islands.

There is also an extensive deck offering an unparalleled breathtaking view of the coast. On those special nights in Summer why not dine outdoors and enjoy the magic of the wild West Coast scenery at its best.
